TP-LINK Product Warranty

KWIC Internet sells and provides rental equipment manufactured by TP-LINK. This warranty policy covers only products manufactured by TP-LINK that are sold by KWIC Internet or included as rental equipment in a service package from KWIC Internet.

TP-LINK provides a limited manufacturer’s warranty that covers failures due to defective materials or workmanship in the main device, antenna, and/or power supply. TP-LINK provides a two-year warranty for SOHO-class products and a five-year warranty for SMB-class products. To find out which class of product you have, please visit this page.

In addition to the limited manufacturer’s warranty specified by TP-LINK, KWIC Internet will, within the first 30 days from the time of purchase, exchange for an equivalent product or issue a full refund. Products purchased includes any equipment manufactured by TP-LINK that is not expressly identified as rental equipment as part of a service package.

If a TP-LINK product becomes defective more than 30 days from the date of purchase, an RMA can be issued for return of the defective product to TPLINK for either repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided the product in question is within the specified warranty period for its class. The customer is responsible for shipping costs (usually $10 CDN) incurred by any RMA that KWIC Internet handles.

If an RMA is issued, a loaner device may be provided. KWIC Internet maintains a limited number of loaner devices for the most common models of TP-LINK products, available for pick-up at our Simcoe, ON office. The customer assumes shipping costs for loaner devices in the event of an RMA being issued.

TP-LINK equipment that is expressly identified as rental equipment as part of a service package provided by KWIC Internet is protected against defects or operational problems of any kind for the duration of the particular service in question. Any rental equipment will be replaced or repaired by KWIC Internet if it is determined, after testing, that the equipment is faulty or defective.

KWIC Internet reserves all rights pertaining to this warranty policy, including but not limited to the modification of this policy and interpretation of its terms.
